service/mechanic recs

Is this the appropriate place to ask about relatively good bmw-specialized shops that are relatively reliable? In the Pasadena/Glendale/SGV area, the two shops that have relatively good positive/negative Yelp review ratios are the M Shop and Bimmer PHD...although Yelp reviews always have their grain of salt...



For in-warranty, are the area dealers (Pacific, New Century) reasonable w/r to their service depts?
