E92 with replaced dct transmission under warranty worth buying?

Hi all, I'm in the market for an used e92. I checked one locally with no accident before and still under warranty. But the transmission was replaced under warranty. How does it affect the value of the car? It's a dct transmission.

Snowboard rack

So I discovered that my BWM roof rack system from my E90 M3 will fit the F80. I just need to adjust the width a little....easy to do. Now the question I have is what are you guys using to actually hold the boards?



Previously I had the BMW board carrier but you can only carry 2 boards. I need room for 4.



Will a thule or other easily mount to bmw cross rail without those ugly clam shell brackets? I.e. Can you use some sort of t-nut to bolt it directly to the cross rail channel? How much depth do you have for bindings?

SO M4 this morning...

Was driving to work this morning and saw a SO M4 with delivery plates on it going from the A6 to the A63 around 0620. Anyone dropping off their car from ED? I was driving the Phoenix Yellow E46 M3 waving at you.



Probably a bit hard to see in the early morning darkness. But the Sakhir Orange looks great!

Trade up to 335i?

So I have a 07 328i, with almost 90k. I've replaced practically everything on the car. I also have a 08 mustang gt -4.6L V8. It's a 14 to 13.8 second car in the 1/4 mile.



Anyways, I'm thinking of upgrading to a 335i, since it's slightly faster than my mustang and identical to my 328i, which I like, just not having to replace a new part every month. No warranty.



I don't have a family or kids, but do need the car to haul stuff occasionally.



Would it be a good idea to trade both of my cars for an 11 335i? Or should I get another brands car like MB E350, Audi, etc.

E90 steptronic initial driving observations

Hi everyone,



The more days that go by owning my lovely 10 plate E90 I notice something.



Most recently, I've noticed that when heading to and from work in the morning/evening, in steptronic mode there are noticeable judders when changing up gears. They tend to disappear after 10-15 mins of controlled driving but I was just wondering whether this is normal for the auto transmission e90?
