I posted in another thread that the dealer replaced the convertible top in my car due to a non-functional defroster. It seems that they reused the inner headliner though I'm not 100% sure.
But after I got the car back, I wanted to ride with the top down, which I do often, and decided to check under the convertible cover before the top was fully retracted. I looked in the side areas where everything folds together. Here:

Essentially there is a bolt in one spot that the bottom of the rear headliner bottom edge seems to catch upon and is getting worn away because of it. The bolt snags the fabric, holds it there, and then vibration is doing the rest.
I don't think that this was like this before they replaced the top, though I also think that they would have had to adjust or mess with the alignment of the top. Maybe I'm wrong.
This is what it does:

One side is worse than the other. This is the worse side.

Thoughts on this? The right side of the top seems to also have a bit more wind noise at the top/quarter window interface, though I don't see why any adjustments for any of this would have had to be necessary.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
