Ran the new Thunderhill 5 mile track today. This is a seriously fun track! The old track is pretty high speed with lots of sections to carry speed. The new track is very tight and technical with some tricky u-turn type of corners. It definitely favors smaller cars. Here's my fastest lap of 4:05 while chasing a SR20DET 240SX.
The M3 was a bit of the underdog compared to the track prepped 240SX with upgraded turbo pushing 300hp, big Stoptech trophy brakes, fully caged and no interior. My M3 is stock besides KW V3 and PSS tires and weighs a good 1000 lbs more than the 240SX... Fun cat and mouse and we had nice chat afterwards. :)
