Seeking Assistance: Fox Red Novillo leather getting shinny

I daily drive MY2012 and the drivers seat is starting to get a sheen from the constant in and out.



I have treated the seats 8 months ago with Spinnybeck and before I hit them again, I wanted to know if there was a better way to keep that matt look. Is there anything I should do before hand to remove the sheen and then retreat?
