Should BMW launch the F87 M2 base version in a (more) vivid color ?

As we know, earlier this week this dedicated Bimmerpost forum leaked the info that the BMW M2 (F87) will be launched in three monochrome colors (Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic and Mineral Grey metallic) + a cocktail blue color (Long Beach Blue metallic, which looks like a mix of petrol blue with turquoise, alike the Blue Lagoon cocktail featuring the blue Curaçao liquor) (http://ift.tt/1E8Ze5t).

Many comments on this dedicated forum, as well as elsewhere on the Internet, criticize BMW for the lack of a (more) vivid launch color. True that the cocktail blue (LBB) may have, or get, its fan base claiming that LBB is actually a vivid color when seen in real life, but it can hardly beat a bright in-your-face color such as red, yellow, orange, etc. variants. LBB risks to become the most 'popular' M2 base version color for the first year product cycle, likely not as choice of preference, but as choice after elimination.

In my view, the M2 needs a more vivid color to mark its presence as newborn ///M breed within the car world. No clue why the marketing folks at BMW totally missed out on that easy opportunity: color as a statement.

Of course, everyone is entitled to his own point of view. Hence, this poll: should BMW launch the F87 M2 base version in a (more) vivid color ?
