Just shy of 8 weeks after I dropped her off in Paris, I picked up my M235i at BMW of Westbrook, Maine today. Dropped on 9/11, arrived in NJ on 10/14, and finally made it to Maine yesterday.
Held up for a while for a bit of attention at the VPC bodyshop, unfortunately. I got a decent size door ding on the second day in Germany, and I managed to clip a rock with the front air dam while parking in Rome. They did a nice job of PDR on the door ding, just a tiny vertical scratch left, and I think they replaced the air dam as there is not a sign of damage to it. Looking good!
Picked her up about 12:30, had lunch with a friend, then picked up my 92yo Grandfather and took him for a spin in the country for a couple hours. Didn't scare him TOO much! Only took one picture since it gets dark so early up here, but I will post some more once the sun comes out again.
