Hi All
Great forum, hope you all enjoy my fist post!
Thought i would start a New Topic with our new toy and its Journey!
So we decided that and M235i was going to suit what we wanted, after spending a couple of weeks looking at value's, deciding what colour/gearbox and spec we wanted we realized we would not get the car we wanted through the used network, it had to be Manual and we did not really want a black interior as wanted it too feel a little more special in side so had to be the oyster, as well as wanting a high spec car, so all of this was making the search very hard, impossible in fact and i expect one the same as we have speced will never come up as there is little choice for manual cars (im hoping later on this will help its residual!).
So after a little back and forward trying to get the best deal possible we placed the order for a Manual car with the following spec:
Estorial Blue
Oyster Leather -
Packages:
Driver Comfort Package
Media Package Pro Nav
Sun Protection Package
Visibility Package
Options:
Harman Kardon
Enhanced Blue Tooth
Folding Mirrors
Heated Steering wheel
Through loading seat
Electric memory seats
Lumbar Support
Heated Seats
Adaptive M Suspension
Comfort Access
Reversing Camera
So at the end of Last month we got the call to say it was in and ready to collect, was such a nice experience here are some pics from Hand over bay

So as soon as we picked it up it went straight into the body shop for the M performance Kit and after alot of looking at pics as to how to paint it this is what we ended up with
MP front Spoiler, with lower section colour coded
Black Grill's
Carbon Mirror caps
Side Blade (colour coded) and Foils
Rear Boot spoiler
Rear Diffuser (upper section colour coded) with MP Tips
Also i knew i would be changing the wheels so removed the originals straight away so not to put any miles on them, so i got a set of M442 wheels with MPSS (225/35 and 255/30) just as a stepping stone to decide what to put on and what off set i can get away with.

So plans will be to possibly lower can on H&R's 15mm springs but not 100% decided on this as the front lip already catches on some inclines and the car does not seem to sit to high, maybe it will come down a little over time when springs bed in as just needs to come down 5mm to fill the gap! Then find the right wheels, will be trying some M4 style ones on soon to get an idea of the look, first performance Mod will be a Sports cat ,mainly for the noise to start with but later when combined with JB4 will give more benefit and the reason i decided not to put the MPE rear box on it.
So far loving it and looking forward to more mods!
Hope you Guys like and any comments opinions (good or bad!) appreciated!
