I have a 135i Axle-back with the resonator deleted, had this since August last year. It used to crackle and pop like crazy while also being quite high pitched in higher rpm's.
Recently in the past few months I have noticed that all these crackles and pops have disappeared, also the exhaust note has become a lot deeper and more mellow, it doesn't sound like it used to and it is quite obvious.
It had sounded high pitched and popped and burbled A LOT for the past year, but all of a sudden is no longer like that. Would anyone have any insight as to why the exhaust would suddenly change so drastically?
