Side Skirt Decals on Opti Coated Car

I am looking at getting the M Performance Side Skirts Decals put on my car, however I am not sure about the adhesion to an opti coated car. Would the opti coat have to come off then apply the decal or the adhesion is sufficient. Any thoughts?
