As many have pointed out, the HK system is lacking quite a bit. I was hoping to upgrade the HK system with aftermarket in my 235 vert, but it seems like options are limited.
I read about replacing the amp with the JL 600/2 for the stock system, can that replace the HK system amp? Is there another (better) option.
For the speakers, it seems like Focals are popular because they are plug and play. Is there another reason or just ease of use. How do they rank up against other aftermarket ones?
It has been a long time since I have done any stereo work in a car...appreciate the responses.
