Fitment question

I see posts saying that the offset is as low as +35 in front with an 18x8.5 wheel will fit with a 225/40-18 tire. If that's the case, would something like this fit:

Front: 18x8.5, ET 35 with 225/40-18 tire
Back: 18.9.5, ET 42 with 255/35-18 tire.

I have these wheels from a previous car and I really like them. Perhaps the rears will poke too much?
