Engaging 6th Gear

I have found that the only way I can engage 6th gear is via the paddles. In both Comfort and Sport Mode, the car only upshifts to 5th gear. To get to 6th, I have to hit the paddle. Also, the car will automatically downshift from 6th to 5th at approx. 2000 RPM.
