Vendor Problems - Please Read / Opinions Needed

Hi guys



Got a little situation with a vendor and wanted your opinions as a forum



I bought a product when the company was just starting out, I was not interested in purchasing but the vendor approached me with a fantastic offer I could not refuse and the way it was portrayed was that the deal was for me to use them as advertising for his business



I agreed - made the purchase, paid extra for a few additional things I wanted plus fitting



Now the time has come for me to sell the product on as I no longer require it and I have priced the item in relation to the market today and also into account the additional items I paid for and fitting paid





The price I offered was inclusive of fitting also to a forum member





The Problem



The vendor has now emailed the buyer and told them I paid way less for the item (he excluded the additional items paid for and fitting) and told the buyer that apparently my product was a 'test' product and not the correct versions nor fitment BUT when fitted the vendor used my purchase as advertising and was so proud of his work and referred potential buyers to pictures of his work that I had purchased



The testing etc is something I had no idea of at the time and the seller withdrew from the sale telling me all of this





Do you guys think this is correct? The right way to do business - should the vendor be emailing people I am now selling too and 'Shitting' on his own product because he may have a personal disliking towards me??



Now I am being accused of ripping someone off - I am a genuine honest person and have no reasons to lie or cheat anyone especially when it is on a forum I have been dedicated too and contributed a lot too
