Took my 235 up Pikes Peak yesterday but forgot to check the weather and got hit with a mega hailstorm about 1000feet down from the summit! It got so bad on the road that my summer tires lost traction and started to slide which is NOT good on that road!
Anyway, I was able to do a VERY hairy 3-point turn and tiptoe my way back down. Thankfully, the hail was just thick, not large, so there is no damage on the car.
Guys, please check weather reports before you go up serious mountains! I will from now on.
