I wanted to gauge as to what is needed for the following modifications. I'm planning on keeping my 328i for quite a while, so I'm willing to hack up the N52 in the process :P.
What would be required/needed for a E36M ITB setup in place of my stage one manifold. I know for sure I'd have to figure out a way, or find a tuning manufacturer that can modify the Valvetronic position. Not sure what company does valvetronic position modifications within a tune. I know I could go MoTec, but i'm not going to competively track my car. Plus if I can find a ecu/tune at a fairly decent price, i'm set. I was thinking about Active Autowerke's tune.
I also have 2.5" - 3" straight pipes, so new race headers are a must. How does AFE or OBX Headers fair against the expensive SS?
Also, which company makes custom Cams for our cars?
I want to push the NA as much as possible without going the regular route or Super Charger. Anyone have any ideas that can push our N52's past regular bolt on modifications, and into the 320+ range? & no, I won't sell my car for a 335i, or buy a supercharger. I'm not looking for FI, I want to stick to NA as much as possible.
