Later today I am going to place my first order for a car (F80) and also first ever BMW. This has been a two year journey and it is somewhat surreal today is the day. Since my nerves are getting the better of me right now I wanted to reach out to the community for any last minute advice.
I know the big thing I need to ensure is that a.) the dealer has an allocation and if they do b.) when is their build date. From what I understand if they do in fact have an allocation they should be able to put my build in right away and I will in turn get a production number. At that point I will give a deposit if one is required.
Outside of that does anyone have any tips or lessons learned to share?
I feel like today is the day I am going to visit santa....in part because I hear I may not get the car until next Christmas with all of these delays! :😂
