Square track guinea pig.

So, I'm going to be the square setup track guinea pig here.

I'm ordering Apex ARC-8s in 18x8.5 ET 38 with 255/35 Dunlop Direzza IIs. I have camber plates in the front (or at least will have them installed on Monday) and am going to run maybe 2ish degrees on the street and adjust it up on the track. I already have the rear at 1.65 degrees, but I might pump it up a bit to 1.8. I'll see what the alignment specialist says.

I've ran a bunch of calculations and compared others on this forum and this "should" work with minimal poke. From what I can tell, you need to run at least ET 40 on the front to get an 8.5 to clear the strut anyway, so 38 can't hurt. I know an accepted setup is ET 35 on the front, but I'd rather minimize the poke. I'll grab a 3mm spacer if need be.

On the rear, I know ET 38 is very aggressive. But I want a square setup, so we will see how it fits. I think the negative camber should help a bit. Also, I'm not dropping the car and don't have any plans to.

I'll let everyone know how it goes and post pictures. You know, for science. Hopefully I don't get lost along the way and end up in Stancenation.

Any questions or comments, leave them here.
