It really blows my mind to think how far auto engineering has come in the last 30 years. When I graduated from high school almost 30 years ago I drooled over the expensive sports cars of the day. They were cars that only the rich and famous could afford. What blows my mind is the 228i is quicker than most all of them. A base model 228i is as quick or more quick than every model that Ferrari put out in 1986...for under $40,000...amazing:bulge:
