I bought my 228i because I could not afford a Boxster. I may not ever be able to afford a new Boxster unless I bought a stripper...which I would not be satisfied with. I really do love the Z4...the looks anyway. I could get into one of those in the low to mid 50s pretty much loaded. Same engine, may be a tad bit slower with different handling characteristics but they sure are purdy:drool:
Love my 228i...rather have a Z4
