Hi all, I'm pretty new to this forum and also modding in general. I've read quite a bit on this forum already and am starting to do some mods to my f30 xdrive.
I've already completed my some other mods including LED daytime runners, aftermarket HIDs, painted reflector swap.
Its time for me to move onto wheels and I think I'll be good.
I really like the 343 style m5 reps. Although I'm torn between 19 or 20. I currently have OEM 17s
I'm also slightly confused about the sizing and what would work best with my car.
The 19s I'm looking at are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 back. Tires are 235/35 front and 265/30 rear. Offsets are +35 front and +37 rear.
Will these specs work well with my xdrive f30? Does the offset sound right?
The 20's I'm looking at are 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 back. Tires are 245/35 front and 275/30 rear. I need to call to confirm offsets, but what offset should I opt for to ensure that I dont rub?
Finally here is a question regarding practicality. Does fuel economy really take a hit when going from 17's to 19s or 20's? I love the look of the 20s but I have to have somewhat decent milage. Also, I have to have all season tires since I love going up to the slopes during winter. Does 19 vs 20s have a difference on the all season tire performance?
