Questions on LCI style tail lights.

So im interested in doing a rear LCI conversion but last week I saw someone in a black Msport e90 with the LCI style tail lights and was astonished on the way they look. The first glimpse I was convinced that the car was a LCI until I saw the front of the car. Anyways my question is does anyone here have them installed on their cars? I noticed theres not a lot of action in regards to these taillights on E90post. After looking at Japanese blogs on these tail lights they are relatively popular here but I read a review by 1 guy who's electrical system got f'd up due to poor build quality and rainwater seeping in and costed him $1200 in repairs.



the tail lights in question are these which are made in Taiwan. Not sure if its the same one as the guy with the electrical but his were made in Taiwan as well. http://ift.tt/1pr6sJS
