Weird headlight shadows

I just installed a set of Osram Xenarc Cool Blue Intense lightbulbs in to my F32. While admiring them, I noticed that there is a weird shadow that is consistent on both left and right sides. Is this shadow normal? Do other F30/F32 owners either stock or aftermarket share the same shadow?
