I found a bunch of tire calculators that compare tire sizes... but not one that offers up alternate tire sizes...
I am looking to replace my 2 rear winter tires that are on my OEM 17x8.5 sportpackage rims.
OEM tire size is 255/40/17... what are some other acceptable tire sizes that match up with this?
What is an acceptable % of outter diameter? I.E. - how much is "too big" or "too small" ?... like a 2% difference or is even that too much?
Right now I have a square set of 225/45/17 blizzak's on 17x8 and 17x8.5 rims.
