Quick question, but what is the normal amount of soot in grams before the car is going to want a longer drive to trigger the 10-15mins cycle?
I have been having these mini cycles without any reduction in the soot level in the car.
I only drive short trips, and although I find the BMWhat app to be much better in giving the feedback, I don't know what are normal numbers for soot mass, or for that matter what kind of numbers are requested for the regen code on the log.
When it does start heating up the filter, it only lasts a minute or two and then it stops.
I may just not have enough soot or the pressure drop across the DPF is created from the way I drive.
Any feedback from guys logging these parameters longer than myself appreciated.
