335i front brake conversion

First of all happy new year :)

This month I will be installing the front calipers of a 335i with dba rotors and hawk pads on my 1. The conversion is quite straight forward as I read on other threads so I will be doing it myself. Things is, will I need to have the brakes coded as performance or leave it as is?
