Received some excellent news this morning.
Our MG/CR M235i went into production yesterday, 22 January. We now have a VIN (hence, "A Star Is Born").
Quick recap:
- ordered the M235i from BMW of San Antonio on 7 January. Jim Wester, Sales Manager handled the business end. Jim assigned Kevin Clarke, Client Adviser to help out and follow through with all arrangements.
- 9 January. My lovely wife's birthday. I gave her a birthday card, a dozen red roses and a brand new BMW key ring with a caveat that she gets to finish optioning her new-soon-to-be-built BMW M235i.
- 12 January. Provided Jim our "final" option list. Kevin than sees to it that the options are in the production order.
- 22 January - production begins. Estimated completion date: 2 February.
- Performance Center Delivery.
