No hating but hear me out. In the UK, specs are approx:-
Golf R
300 odd HP
AWD
0-62 in about 4.4 is it?
RRP £30k
M2
365 odd HP
RWD only I'm convinced for the UK RHD
0-62 in about 4.9
RRP £45k tbc
Now this is no problem to me, I doubt I'd ever get the golf. BUT it's receiving rave reviews and the M2 will cost 50% more and for UK weather I doubt the M2 will match a Golf R in the wet and snow which is lots of the time :(
I guess this could be good as the M2 would remain more exclusive but this is some competition for the M2, nothing new of course the R has been about for a bit, but the M2 needs to be excellent!
