:happyanim:
Took delivery yesterday! I haven't driven it much yet but I have had it on my favorite canyon road (Mulholland drive) twice already.

I spent hours clay baring the paint today. It looked good when I picked it up but now it looks brilliant. I love the Estoril

I was a little worried about my choice of interior color (Oyster) but now that I have it I'm totally happy.

I cant drive it hard yet but the engine has creamy torque everywhere and sounds like a proper BMW. I loved the N20 4 cylinder in my 328i but I never enjoyed the sound. The M235i makes music.

The chassis, steering (in sport mode) and tires work together very well. Again, I barely have any miles on the car but it makes my F30 feel like a soft luxury car in comparison. The M235i is MUCH sportier. No contest.

My favorite thing about the car besides the fact that I got a manual is the physical size of it. The car has perfect proportions. I don't feel like I'm in a toy car, nor do I feel like I'm piloting a ship either. It's quick to turn in and change directions. I can't wait til it's broken in and I can play with the LSD!:D

I've decided that I'm going to leave it bone stock for a while so that I'll have a good baseline of it's (and my) abilities before and after any mods. I did put on my BMW CCA grill badge though. Oh, and before anyone says "get black grills!", I'm keeping my chrome grills. :party0030:
