Ive had my M235 for exactly 1 year and have not heard this sound before. How it happens- windows up AC on or off, light throttle take off from a stop and by 30-40 mph gradually start lifting your foot on the gas pedal. As I start to lift slightly, I hear a faint but definite whistle under hood on the front passenger side. I can recreate this almost at will if I repeat the above scenario. My car is 100% stock right now. I do not ever recall hearing this. I dropped the car off at my dealer and they tell me it is completely normal? They say it is the DV releasing boost under part throttle. I get this, but like mentioned Ive never heard this before so Im curious if it is just me and the sound was always there or is this NOT normal and they are full of shit? It is not or puff or pish noise, remember we are talking very light throttle here and a slow gradual lift of your foot on the throttle (not abrupt lift and not fully off the gas pedal). Anyone else hear this?
