In-Law's pup was hit and ran

I don't know how anyone in their right mind could do something like this, but my sister-in-law and her husband's puppy (Nala) was hit last night after she got away from my brother-in-law's mom on Saturday night. His mom fell down while letting Nala out and she took off. I don't like asking people for help, but if any of you want to donate to the cause, they would definitely appreciate it (and need it); they're looking at $10K+ in medical costs.
