5000 miles in -burning smell

This morning I did my usual 20 mile round-trip school/nursery run. Car had been behaving as normal - I had also been taking it really easy (45 mpg)



When I get home and get out the car, the cooling fan was on full blast and there was a strong smell of burning rubber, popped the hood and nothing visually looks out of the ordinary.



Any ideas?
