does my 2011 e90 335i needs a clutch?

Hi everyone, my car seems very slow, I notice today driving on the highway that when I hit the gas the tach would move up fast but the car would not accelerate right away, then after about a second the tach drops and I feel the car starting to pull, it also seems slow at take off. I purchase the car used I have only put about 1k miles on it, so I don't know if it is normal as I can't reference to when the car was new :confused2.



She now has 29K miles.



My reason to suspect something is not right is that power is kind of disappointing, could it be a boost issue and not the clutch? What would you recommend for a cost conscious owner to measure boost?
