Halogen Lights

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Pre LCI E90 328i for the wife. She had a E90 325I and loved it! We looked for a while as she is all about black on black 6MT. It took a while and we found a well maintained lower mileage car. During a vin decoding I realized the car has halogens. YUCK! Id hate to back out as the rest of the car is a gem, but those lights are hideous. The expense to swap them is insane, unless I have missed something. I have not found any promising threads that any cost effective solutions exist. WTF would BMW still use these lights!!
