My MPG is averaging 15mpg, well below the advertised 23 city/34 highway.
I drive mostly in New York city, short trips, so not expecting high mileage, but 15mpg seems too low?
I noticed that BMW has removed the MPG figures from the 328i specifications page: http://ift.tt/1vd3mgH
And on the 335i page it's marked as TBD:
http://ift.tt/1vd3mgH
So this would seem to be a known issue, such that they are now removing the specifications from the website!
I mentioned it to my service assistant when getting my 5000mi service and he said 'BMW won't even look at mpg until you've done more than 8000mi'. That sounds kinda shady to me!
Anyone else had experience here when mpg is lower than advertised? Can it be a service issue, i.e. can it be 'fixed'?
