Gobsmacked by Goldsmiths

Was out shopping on black Friday. Real civilised shopping, not getting into a knife fight in Tesco over a cheap flatscreen tv. Anyway, I had my eye on a Tag watch and as there was zero VAT I decided to treat myself. Got the watch sized etc and as I was paying the guy presented it onto the counter in a bag. My wife joked, I hope you're not charging for a bag. The deputy store manager who served me was (I thought) joking back with us. When I got home and looked at the receipt, they had actually added 5p to the bill with a £2000 watch. I shall never darken Goldsmiths door again. I can't believe it.

Love the watch but pretty poor customer focus in my eyes.
