Hey everyone,
It's about time to choose a winter wheel/tire setup for my 2015 M235i. I chose the staggered setup when I ordered with the SuperSports. I live in Richmond, VA so I get pretty mild winters, but I absolutely have to be able to maneuver around in the snow. I've previously had a 335i with all-season tires and rarely had problems.
Here's what I am thinking my options are:
1) Choose an 18" winter tire option to use with my current wheels and buy some 18" VMR VB3 for my summer tires and then swap each year.
2) Choose a 17" tire/wheel package and just keep my current setup for summer.
Any suggestions? I really love the CSL style wheels and have always wanted them, but it doesn't seem like 18" winter tires are typically recommended or easy/cheap to find. I am leasing the car also and plan on leasing another 2 series (M2?) in around 3 years when this is up, so I would like for whatever I choose to be potentially usable with a new car.
Thanks for the advice!
