I have for sale 5 Bosch coils, part #12137594937. I purchased them since I was having misfires, but I had an SES light come up and after 7 days of my car in the shop, they replaced all 6 coils and 3 plugs under my CPO. I obviously no longer need these. I just bought them three weeks ago from OEMbimmerparts. I will sell all 5 for $175. We can meet in south burbs or Chicago.

Supersprint F1 Race (rear section only)
Hey everyone!
For sale is the exhaust off of my car. Anyone that knows SuperSprint exhaust systems knows they are some of the best in the world. This is their F1 Race system (rear section only) and is a bolt-on part, meaning no cutting or welding required. This exhaust also saves about 20-25lbs over stock and is hand-made purely from 304 stainless steel in Italy!
As for sound, anyone who has heard this exhaust knows it is absolutely PERFECTION. It's not very loud, but does sound fantastic and provides literally zero drone. I've heard almost every exhaust for this car on the planet, and while I love some of the full systems, they do get on my nerves sometimes. This is the perfect balance of aggressive and wonderful tonality, with a not so obnoxious loudness, no drone, and no rasp.
The system was $2,400 new + shipping. I'm asking $1,800 SHIPPED for the exhaust.
Any questions, please do let me know!

XI Height Percentage ?'s Need Help!!
Guys I have never owned an AWD car before always had rear wheels and I need some help. I just ordered rims and I am trying to match sets. I have read you can have 1% difference then I have seen .5% difference. Which one is it? I am looking at two combos one is .218 rear is higher other is .518 front is higher. I used calculator over on E90 to get these. Can I safely run either one of these set-ups on my 2014 GT? I am trying to get tires ordered and the other problem is the front tires. The lowest combo has me running a 225-45-19 on an 8.5 rim which I have been told is pushing it. The higher combo has me doing a 245-40-19 on the front which I am afraid may be too wide. I have seen a 235-40 on the front with no problems. If anyone can help Thanks. Offsets are 38 front.
F32 price drop with 4GC in the market?
Does anyone know if BMW is planning reducing the price for the F32, now that the 4GC is being sold already?
In Europe, for ex, the 4GC is cheaper than the 4, in equal configs, which will make terrible sale numbers for this model..

M Performance accessories install at port
Any problems (long delays, out-of-stock, etc.) with getting M Performance accessories installed at the port (vehicle distribution center) on an ordered car? I am thinking of ordering an 335i M Sport with three of the M Performance accessories: M Performance Power Kit, M Performance Exhaust System, and the black kidney grills.
Any feedback appreciated.

Feeler: $500 ECS gift card
Hey guys,
My ECS Tuning account has a $500 gift card on it. I was going to put it towards coilovers, but then ended up purchasing a used set. I've been browsing their site tirelessly, and cannot find anything that I want.
Not entirely sure how this would work. I guess I'd just delete my information and send you the credentials.
So, if anyone has something they want from ECS, I'd pass on my account for $450.
I'm in no rush to do this, but if someone wants it, PM me.
Edit: I should reiterate that this is a feeler. I may just end up ordering control arms or something.

N52 water pumps: 11517586924 vs 11517586925-- what's the difference?
RealOEM has two water pumps listed: 11517586924 and 11517586925
http://ift.tt/R2w5qw
They're $150 different, so something is going on. Both seem to be currently sold, implying it's not one part superseding another (plus they're not listed as such). Both bring up pics via google image search that look identical.
So... what's going on here?

How much are my 161 oem alloys worth?
Looking for a new set of wheels however just wanted to know much my 161 alloys with 'sunew' tyres are worth? The tyres came with the car when i bought it a few weeks back. They seem like Chinese tyres with minimum thread remaining.

So, recommend me a shine/protect product
The bank holiday weekend is coming up, and want to spend some time protecting my car (my wifes audi had LifeShine protection when she bought it, and it looks like it is made out of glass compared to my new BMW).
With her car, she was given the Autogym Audi kit which is 7 or 8 bottles of mixed stuff which she is happy for me to use (as she will NEVER was her car herself she asks me to do it or gets the guys at Sainsburys to rub grit into her paint work).
I am looking for the options for making my car sparkle AND be protected for minimum work for the next few washes but with MINIMAL work.
So, should I break into her Autogym pack and get to work (in which case, after a wash and demonshine rinse, what should I be using), or what is the best product I can pick up off the self from halfords or similar?

318d - all the car you ever need...
My car's gone back in (again) for a buzzing noise to be rectified.
As a replacement I have a Manual 318d Sport. It's been interesting comparing both ends of the 3 series ladder and my ultimate conclusion.
I moan in the 335d about the lack of refinement and the tyre noise primarily because of how much the car cost me. Funny thing is the tyre noise in this car is near non existent compared to my car and I'm just willing to accept slight wind noise at higher speeds as this is a £30k car and not one that retailed the wrong side of £50k.
Performance wise, it's perfectly acceptable. Okay it's not ballistic like mine but it surprised me how nippy it was. MPG I'm kicking around late 50's with ease.
Suspension wise, it's a lot nicer than my car. Just up the road from the dealer, we've got speed ramps and it doesn't wallow. For a standard setup, it's much better.
So what do I miss? Sunroof, heated seats and Pro Nav are first things that struck me. Also dipping passenger mirror to avoid curbs. Interior is cloth and actually all the better for it. I've never been a bit fan of Dakota leather and there's something rather nice about the interior with cloth in not pretending to be anything it's not and somehow the plastics work better.
And that's the thing. This car is not trying to punch above its station and is all the very much more attractive for it. I've actually really fallen in love with it.
This has brought even more dilemma in the should I/shouldn't I buy M3/4 debate as it brings home just how much money it is for a 3 series. I actually have been seeing what else my money would buy - it's been fun and eye-opening.
Yesterday was a beautiful 2 yr old V12 Vantage - monthlies worked out near identical (yes I know it's more to run). The noise!! Dear God!
All food for thought but if you've got a 318d and feel jealous about people having 335's (i or d), don't be. You're driving a damn good car and are quids in every month as well. Sounds like a smart move to me.

Non comfort access key fob-- is there anywhere that replaces the battery?
Bought the e91 used, PO never used one of the two remotes. :thumbdown
I know they supposedly aren't serviceable, but the same is said of the 46/39/38/53 remotes, yet there's places that replace the batteries in them. Is there anyone that does a similar service on the non comfort access e9X remotes?
Thanks!

Mobridge DA2 - changes since 1 January 2014
Heya,
Not sure how useful this will be to some, but while looking for information on my DA2 I saw that they got rid of the toslink connection since 01.01.2014:
"Note: If you plan on using an external processor via the TOSLINK optical connection then we reccomend using the DA1 product. The DA2 product does not contain a digital connection as of the 1st of January 2014. The DA1 was designed to be used with an external processor where as the DA2 was designed to be used running directly into amplifiers."

2014 x5 35d m sport. (the snowman) build
Hi gents and ladies.
I just got my 2014 X5 35d last week. I'm super happy with the new x5 (coming from a 2009 4.8). This is my first new car major purchase of my adult life (33). I've been ad avid car builder / modder all my life.
I previously years ago had a 91 325is as one of my first cars which I dubbed "snowball" being alpine white. Given this guy is the same colour and obviously way bigger... His name is " the snowman" :)
I look forward to all your threads in the future. Some great x5s out there already.
Options :
Alpine white
Black dakota leather
M Sport package
Premium package
Xenon lights
HK audio
Upgraded mods :
M performance lip
M performance rear defuser with wings
M performance hatch spoiler
M performance mirrors

M performance brake package
M performance 599 21" wheels

Cheers.

Introduction:
Built in 1986 and hosting its first Grand Prix one year later, the circuit of Jerez is now one of the most popular MotoGP venues and the focal point for a city fanatical about sport. Set in a slight valley in the south of Spain, Jerez is blessed with consistently good weather and beautiful scenery, its numerous grandstands providing the perfect viewing facilities for up to 250,000 spectators.
With two alternative road circuits (4,423m and 4,428m), which were resurfaced during 2005, Jerez is a popular venue used by many race teams for testing throughout the year, whilst its recently updated corporate and media facilities have proven to be a popular addition to the complex. Other facilities such as the control tower and pit boxes have also been vastly improved.

"MotoGP riders know the Jerez de la Frontera circuit well. It's been home to the Spanish Grand Prix since 1987 and is used as an official off-season testing venue. Situated in Spain's sherry-making region the weather is usually good, although wetter conditions have spiced thingsup in recent years. This race is also one of the season's best attended, regularly attracting close to 250,000 fans throughout the weekend."

Are spark plugs and shocks/struts warranty items
I have about 6 months /5000 miles left under my factory warranty. My car is at the dealer right now for an oil change and spark plug replacement. I also asked them to look into possible bad shocks since my car suddenly feels super squirrelly when I hit a road imperfection-especially on turns. I saw some drip marks on the lower part of each rear shock when I was reinstalling my summer tires.
If the shocks are deemed bad, are these replaceable under warranty? Or are they considered wear items? Same questions for spark plugs.
My SA seemed to indicate the spark plugs were considered general maintenance and covered by BMW. I didn't ask him about the shocks. It just seems odd to me that my spark plugs need replacement after just 3.5 years or 45k miles.
I would think a bum shock during the warranty period would also be covered, but I'm not sure so I thought I'd ask.

330d touring coming Friday!
Ordered car with finance company 18th march, told car being built Good Friday, phoned yesterday to say car can be delivered 8th but taking receipt 9th as at Chester races!!! Exciting!!
One thing I want to ask is about EBT. I HAVE looked at some of the other threads but unfortunately I am not really understanding it all! Would anyone be kind enough to tell me - in a nutshell - why I might need to code and broadly what is involved? I have business system. Sorry I'm a but thick with this kind if stuff! :)

New Owner...looking for some guidance
Hey everyone, I finally picked up a 2008 BMW 335xi 4 door with 6 speed manual, sport package and premium package :happyanim:
I do have a few questions which I haven't found any straight answers with a google search. What would qualify me to receive an oil cooler install from BMW? I don't see an oil cooler on this car and I have no plans to keep it stock. If for whatever reason I do not qualify for the oil cooler from BMW, are their any places to buy a stock cooler? (I'm not looking to drop 1400 bucks on a dinan oil cooler. Also, figured I would mention that I am looking for a set of 18 by 8 or 8.5 OEM rims, JB4, DCI, and catch can, so if you have one you are looking to get rid of, gladly pick that up from you, rather then me trying to read through all of the for sale ads. Thanks again, and very glad to have finally picked up one of my favourite cars

FS: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Flawless Condition!
I've decided to sell my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 since my job got us new phones. I got the phone back in February from the AT&T store so it's still covered under warranty for another 10 months. The phone is in perfect working order with no issues at all. I'm an honest person so I do want to disclose that I accidentally knocked the phone off my desk at work and when it fell it nicked the upper left corner. It is only cosmetic and has no effect on the way the phone works. Please feel free to PM me with any questions or reasonable offers. I will get pictures up later today.
Coding Needed - Local or Remote
In need of some coding for my 09 335xi. Local in the Phoenix area or remote, doesn't really matter. Let me know if someone can assist. Thx!
why does the M235i feel so much livelier than the 435i?
Where do you think are the reasons?
The weight difference is only about 60kg, the center of gravity is lower on the 4 series. Then there is the different wheelbase, which I think has some good effects too.
With the PPK 340hp, the Performance exhaust the differences in terms of sound and acceleration should be minor.
With Michelin Pilot Super sports on the 435i another difference can be eliminated.
But what about handling? Could the gap be closed with maybe half a degree more negative camber up front and stiffer springs? Or might there be other significant differences?
(My impression is based on driving a 435i, once a 220d M Sport and lots and lots of reviews about the M235i and the 435i. And I absolutely love the 435i, but I am starting to discover that a smaller, maybe more involving car has got its benefits too)

Coding in NW Florida
I just wanted to make a quick post to let anyone near the Destin, FL area that I can now do coding and can flash the Alpina transmission flash. I also can make custom flash tunes or custom maps for the Procede. For flash tuning you need to have your own BT cable. I currently don't tune with Cobb, but if there is interest I would be willing to get familiar with the ATR software. PM me or post in this thread if you have questions.

Daeos Harness install. Off when lights in off position.
I have a daeos harness on the way. I want to have the ability to turn all lights of including the AE when the light switch is in the off position.
I want to also be able to leave in Auto position and have the AE on.
I know I can put a remote switch to turn off the AE but has anyone located a power source that would not have light on all the time but only when switch is in the On or Auto position?
Thanks

Help: What mid pipe to pair with Meisterschaft GT?
Hi guys, I'm planning to change my stock N55 mid pipe with aftermarket mid pipe (stock DP). The Meisterschaft GT axle back does provide enough growl but I need something more for lower rpm growl. Which mid pipe do you guys recommend instead of N55 mid pipe?
I want something that flows better than the stock N55 mid pipe that has resonator at the end. FYI, my car has DCT and I can heard the canny sound when it shifts gear and I want to eliminate that ugly sound.
I heard some brands including berk, maddad, CP-e, and agency power. Please give me your recommendation and reason why I should go that way. Sound clip will be very appreciated. Thank you guys!

Debadging
Looking to take the rear badges off my F30: 328i on right side, xDrive from the left, and the dealership badge (1 piece glued on). They have been on for about a year.
Should I be concerned with the glue having cured, or damaging the paint below and leaving an etching. Will I need to polish the area (besides normal wash and wax)?
Anyone have experience debugging after having their car for a while?

Who are you insured with?
I've just renewed my next annual policy with Aami insurance for $2550 (which is better than previous, a few short of 2,800) and has got me curious to ask, who is everyone insured with and what is your age bracket?
Looking around for myself, Aami was by far the cheapest quote I could muster given my age (21) and driver statistics and would like to see if there are any demographics on which insurance companies here in Australia want as their customers. (Would they prefer customers aged 25-39, daily drives etc.)
It might even help a few people save a few bob.

Snake Cruise and Santa Monica Pier [335is X Ferrari 458 Italia X '14 Merc SL550]
Well, it's definitely been a while since I've posted here! I'm currently on a semester abroad in Tokyo, Japan and haven't had much time with my car :(
BUT, before I left in March, some friends and I went cruising in my 335is and my buddy's 458 Italia. We also went to the Santa Monica Pier, and I had my dad's matte gray SL550 with me. Didn't think I was gonna be shooting pics, but it was a beautiful night!
So, without further adieu, here are some of the car shots! Enjoy!
