I'm close to 35,000km and while I have another 5,000km or so left on my current tyres, I'm going to replace them this weekend as a) I'm ready to ditch the RFTs, and b) I want the tax deduction this FY :D
I debated keeping the ContiSportContact 5 SSR's or trying the RF offerings from Pirelli or Bridgestone, however I remembered how much I didn't regret going to standard rubber on my last BMW and will do the same again this time.
Turns out my timing isn't bad either, my local Bob Jane managed to source 4x Michelin PSS in 225/45/18 (standard size for my 328i Sport line) for me at $266 a corner, which made my jaw hit the ground and ask him if he said what I thought he said. So if you're in the mind for it, get 'em at this price while it lasts I reckon.
