So I am looking to buy this BMW. Upon CarFax inspection, it states, "Accident reported involving right side impact. Airbag deployed." The current owner had no idea about this and called the dealership to find out. Supposedly it was parked on the dealer lot, before it was ever sold, and someone backed into the front causing the airbags to go off.
I went to see the car, it looks perfect, drives perfect, seems no issues at all.
Is this something that you guys would stay far far away from or is it a non-issue? If I can negotiate a fair price, I would have it looked at by BMW or an independent shop.
