Looking for access to power in little compartment in front of shifter

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.



I am trying to get access to a power line where I can solder a USB cable to underneath the little compartment in front of the AT shifter. The little compartment has this rubber mat type thing and underneath that there's a hole. Any ideas where I can find this information?



My plans are to make that compartment into a wireless charger for my phone.
