2011 335i vs 2014 328d both auto

as far as these cars are concerned, do they have same 7 speed auto tranny?



I got to test drive the newest 328d with auto and the auto tranny in it was

way more refined than my 330i auto.



how does the auto from 2014 cars differ from 2011 335i?
