I am getting my rims powdercoated and I had to take the TPMS off the rims. The tire shop said that after they remount the tires they need 1 hour of labor to get everything working and reset the TPMS.
This seems silly.. like something I could do myself; I just haven't had a TPMS so I don't know what to expect.
Can I simply have the tire shop remount, new valve stems, balance, then reset the TPMS on my own, or is there more that goes into it. He mentioned he doesn't know which one goes on which tire etc, idk if it matters if I just put them in and reset? I think I saw the option on my display to reset TPMS, easy as that?
