e9x wheels as winter rims on f31?

a bit left field, but i need a set of 18" winter wheels for my F31 335xd as my e91 17" wheels don't clear the calipers on the front.



the std F30 18" fitment is a staggered

Front 8x18 ET34 with 225/40/18 and

rear 8.5x18 ET 47 with 255/40/18

and the winter setup is square

8x18 ET34 with 225/45/18



It looks like i can get 18" e90 wheels a lot more readily and cheaply than F30 wheels - i have an eye on a set of Style 189 wheels 18" is a staggered fitment

Front 8x18 ET34 and rear 8.5x18 ET 37



I would propose to fit the std square setup on these i.e. 225/40/18 -

What are the thoughts on:

a) with the offsets on the rear be an issue and

b) will a 225/45/18 fit on the 8.5" rim without any issues?
