Google's New Driverless Cars

The technology is amazing and we've come a long way given the history of cars, but I won't want to get caught dead in one; looks like a cross between a smart and a Beetle! :barf: :barf: Couldn't Google say, partner with a major manufacturer like they did with the Prius and perhaps make one with the same concept, but without all the driver's stuff? Either way, call me old-fashioned but I still like to have control of the car. Even though I've never owned a stick shift car outright, I still even like the 3-pedal driving.
