So I recently upgrade my M3, moving from a 2007 Version with L7 to a 2012 Version with the Harmon Karden setup. I've read various different posts about the different upgrade options which has left me, a rookie, very confused. However I am more confused at what I've identified today.....
I found that if I plug in my iPhone, to use Spotify or the phone's music, or I plug in a USB source, the sound quality is very poor, especially at the high ends. BUT when using FM Radio, the sound quality is superb (well maybe not superb, but MUCH better, and just like my old L7 which I loved!)
Has anybody else noticed this?? And is the poor sound quality with the HK purely the result of a bad connection with an external audio source? Note I am using the USB cable and not the 3.5mm phono cable so I would have expected no problems in quality of sound, but that's definitely not the case!)
